About

I am researcher at the University of Oxford specializing in computational methods in social science with a particular interest in modelling complex social systems through the lens of political violence and political opinion. Some of my research topics include:

  • Organisational structure and group decision making in insurgency
  • Network theory, chaotic systems, and modelling collective behavior
  • Synthetic agents’ ability to mimic participant results in social experiments
  • Opinion change dynamics

I also work as a private consultant data scientist and methodologist on social surveys. My fieldwork is concentrated in the developing world, mostly in Sub-Saharan Africa.
